The satellite uses a three inch, full range driver housed in a four inch spherical, steel enclosure. There is no crossover in the critical vocal range. We use proprietary and patented "S2" technology for full rich sound. The result is a transparent, dynamic, lifelike sound which does an excellent job of conveying the emotional content of the music. To fill in the lowest octaves you have two choices. The M1 dedicated woofer module or the MPS powered subwoofer.

From an interior design standpoint we have recognized that speakers are really furniture in the respect that they are an integral part of the room in which they reside. Finally, a speaker that makes music and actually fits your personal decor.

"The amp that we use is an Audiosource 150 Watt class A/B design. There are several ways to measure power ratings and this is the most conservative one. Our 150 Watt rating is for continuous RMS. This means a continuous output, all day long, of 150 Watts. It has a big heavy power supply and very high parts quality. If we were to measure peak RMS, our amp would easily pass for a 300 Watt amplifier. In fact, most companies use the peak rating and that is how they label their amps. We choose to be honest, even conservative.

The woofer, or piston driver / cone, is the heart of any speaker design. Still, most manufacturers, especially at mass market system costs ($1,500 and under), use the least cost driver approach. They spend as little as they can. Most manufacturers do not pay much attention to detail or articulation in their subwoofers. They design their subs to be sound effects generators. It is for this reason that most sound terrible when you try to listen to music. They may hide their defficiencies if all they have to do is go boom, crash, bang - just don't ask them to make that bass drum sound tight or a jazz trio sound lifelike."

"The perfect apartment speaker - an ideal balance of style and substance-- extremely good at the price. The micro is the best looking and sounding speaker system of its type that I've auditioned."

"Resolved instruments with proper weight and impressive detail. Voices sound surprisingly real. Rendered bass guitar with excellent definition and attack."

"The satellites and subwoofer integrate very nicely and sound like a cohesive, single unit. Never edgy or hashy and always highly listenable."

"The subwoofer sounds tight, fast and controlled, it can really shake its bottom end and boogie with excellent rhythm and drive, which brings realism to the music."
